Debra Rosenthal-Ritter Files as a Candidate for Texas House of Representatives District 29

Monday, November 28, was the first day that candidates could file for a place on the Primary ballot for the upcoming March 6 Election Day.  Debra Rosenthal-Ritter, a Conservative Republican candidate from Alvin, filed the appropriate paperwork to run for the Texas House of Representatives District 29 seat which includes Alvin, Manvel, and Pearland.

Debra and her husband, B.J., have been Brazoria County residents for 19 years and have three sons ranging in age from 29 to 10.  Debra currently owns and operates her own small business as a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner (CFP®), assisting individuals and other small business owners in their financial planning concerns.  She and her family are members of the First United Methodist Church, Pearland, and while Debra is an active member of both the Alvin Area Republican Women and the Alvin TEA Party Patriots, she has never run for or held an elected office before.  Debra is proud to admit that she is NOT a career politician, and feels that her educational background and the professional experience she brings to this race are the qualifications that make her the best Conservative choice to represent the citizens of Brazoria County in the Texas House of Representatives where she vows to “Put Taxpayers First”.  Debra can be reached at debrarosenthalritter@yahoo.com or by phone at (281) 393-2056, and welcomes the opportunity to speak – and to listen – to Brazoria County citizens and voters.
